Is Victoria Secret Racist? NO

I had a conversation with someone over on the jezebel site about Victoria Secret.

Now I don't agree with the jungle theme in their latest fashion show but overall I've got to give Victoria Secret a B+ for it's use of Black models and women of color. They've used blk models who span the color spectrum and even body types of those on the thinner side. Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Yasmin Warsame, Chanel Iman, Lyndsey Scott,Arlenis Sosa, Oluchi Onweagba, Noemie Lenoir, Seeilee Lopez, Alec Wek, Selita Ebanks, Jourdan Dunn, Emanuela De Paula,Ajuma, Jessica White,Katja Shchekina, Aninata Niaria, Kiara Kabukuru,Adrianna Lima(yup I'm claiming her) and a few more whose names escape me right now.

this post is dedicated to peanut,Y,Larina,Lais, and noname.

I don't think they're racist, their clothes are notoriously cheap and their models are consistently beautiful.

But no, I don't think they're racist. It would be nice to see more ethnic models, but the reality of the situation is that we live in a country where Caucasians are the majority.

Their clothes are attractive, but they're cheap and they don't last very long, that's my only beef with them.
